Welcome on the website of kennel Memicedaiska

This year my kennel exists 27 years. My first Leonberger bitch was born in 1983. Her name was Makoum Iska. She became the Godmother of my breeding. She deserves this name with honour, not only because of her good hips, but also for her beautiful head and her typical Leonberger character.

I have 3 bitches: Memicedaiska Pidoux Lu, born in 2002, Fastwin's Choice Lotte, born in 2004 and Memicedaiska Wanikiya, born in 2009.

While breeding I try to keep the friendly and self-conscious character, which is typical for a Leonberger. Meanwhile I already breed with my 7th generation, all the dogs have done a character test. Health and beauty of the dog play a key role in a justified combination but after all it remains a consideration. While breeding I often use foreign dogs to get as much variety as possible in the genealogical tree.

The puppies are born in my house and remain there until they leave. They receive excellent treatment and guidance. With seven weeks the puppies are submitted to a character test and on the basis of this test the dog is placed in a family we think best for the dog. This always happens in mutual agreement with the prospective buyer. Up till now this method has been very satisfactory for both parties.

The puppies are fed with a complete food. At the age of six weeks they partly change over to a special renowned feed for puppies of heavy breed. I advise this feed until the age of eighteen months.

The puppies are sold with a purchase agreement which contains the agreements between the buyer and seller. These agreements make sure that the dog's welfare is guaranteed.
